The journal Shurot invites scholars, teachers and educators who are interested in the study and teaching of poetry to submit essays for a double-blind peer review.
כתב העת שורות מזמין אנשי ספר, אקדמאים, מורים ומחנכים המעוניינים בלימוד והוראת שירה, להגיש מאמרים לפרסום שיעברו תהליך שיפוט של עיוורון כפול.

Sponsored by Levinsky College of Education and Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Shurot is a multi-lingual, online peer-reviewed journal, dedicated to the scholarly research of poetry, to developing a discussion of the strategies of teaching poetry within the framework of higher education, and to publishing original poetry primarily in Hebrew, Arabic and English. Shurot is unique in its combining of academic essays on poetry alongside original poetry with the belief that this combination, within a multicultural context, will create a space for conversation among writers, researchers and teachers of poetry. The journal will also feature unique essays which illuminate the process of creating poetry.
שורות הוא כתב-עת רב לשוני, מקוון ושפיט, שמטרתו לעודד את העיסוק המחקרי בשירה, לפתח את הדיון באסטרטגיות של הוראת שירה במסגרות של ההשכלה הגבוהה, וכן לפרסם שירה מקורית בעיקר בעברית, ערבית ואנגלית. ייחודו של כתב העת שורות הוא בשילוב בין מאמרים אקדמאיים על שירה לבין שירה מקורית, מתוך אמונה ששילוב זה, בתוך ההקשר הרב-תרבותי, יכונן מרחב פורה לשיח בין כותבי שירה, חוקריה ומוריה. יחודיות נוספת הינה במאמרים שיאירו את התהליך של יצירת השירה עצמה.
